I was doodling and playing around with different brushes and colors, truly experimenting, when this little man appeared on the canvas. The choice of colors appealed to me and I liked the effect of flames on the outstretched hand. With the picture at the bottom of the canvas it gives the illusion of seeing the man climbing out of something with his hand outstretched, asking for help. -- SS
